Campsite Centre

One of the many characteristics of the region is the presence of multiple chateaus on the banks of the Loire river. Chambord, the residence of King Francis I, or Blois, Chinon (where Joan of Arc came to stay) and Chenonceau are just some of the many reasons to choose a campsite in the Centre region of France. Finally, the region is home to some of the greatest French cathedrals: Bourges, Chartres, Orléans and Tours.

But the Centre region also has a lot to offer in terms of the natural environment. It is a wooded region and is crossed from East to West by the Loire river. This makes it a great place to go for walks, either through the forest or along the banks of the Loire. The main natural point of interest in the Centre region is of course Brenne regional natural park. This park is home to a whole host of different plant and animal species, giving it a remarkable ecological importance. This natural heritage is a good reason to choose a campsite in the Centre region. Staying on a campsite is also ideal if you want to explore the surrounding natural environment.
