Try your hand at the water sports on the Loire river or head to the Puy du Fou theme park for an unforgettable day out. Pay a visit to the nearby wine cellars, châteaux and troglodytic sites. The city of Angers and the Doué la Fontaine and Flèche Zoos are all less than an hour away.

We really enjoyed our stay at this site. Facilities were adequate and clean. Pitches were nicely separated by hedges for privacy. The pools were a lovely added bonus for us both keen swimmers. It was a 20 min walk along the little river to Brissac and the beautiful chateau is worth a visit, even just a leisurely walk around the grounds .

C’est un plaisir de savoir que vous avez aussi profité de la nature environnante, entre balade le long de la rivière, visite du château et observation des oiseaux et papillons 🦋. Stayed 2nights in motorhome, Friendly, clean facilities, lovely pool, shop for basics, fresh bread, path into village. Only negative the WiFi was hopeless, kept dropping out and very slow had to keep logging in, I gave up.

Large, secluded pitch. Nice indoor heated pool. Good for dog walking in surrounding area.

Camping L'Étang
Camping L’Etang is a modest-sized campsite in the countryside with spacious pitches for tents, caravans or motor-homes. The campsite also offers mobile home rentals and gites for up to 10 people. There is everything you could possibly need for a pleasant family camping holiday: children’s playground, bar, restaurant, grocery store, and two swimming pools, one of them heated and indoors, with a paddling pool area. Fishing enthusiasts will love Brissac Lake.
